REMEMBRANCE DAY

I decided over the weekend to plan projects, for my Facebook Live today, using the PAINTED POPPIES and PEACEFUL MOMENTS BUNDLES – because today is Remembrance Day.

Yesterday, I shared a thank you card that I prepared ahead of my Live.

Today, I want to share a decor item that I am so very happy with.

Rob and I have been very fortunate in our travels to visit many sites, in Europe, associated with our very brave ANZACs. So, for me, remembrance is an important part of being Australian.

I made lots of poppies and used 12 of them for this project. I adhered the leaves under the poppies and speckled some RED RHINESTONE BASIC JEWELS on the background.

The shadow frame is from Ikea – I used the last one I had in my stash, so I will need to buy some more soon. These frames are perfect to showcase all sorts of paper crafted projects.

The REMEMBER banner was made suing the PLAYFUL ALPHABET DIES and the BANNER PICK A PUNCH.

As I mentioned before – I am very pleased with how this project turned out.

What do you think?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products I used to make this project. If you live in Australia, you can order any of them through me.

GILDED BUTTERFLIES GIFT BOX

After I made the coffee capsule gift box I shared yesterday, I decided to make a second box and use the same DSP to punch out and add some butterflies.

I used the BUTTERFLY DUET PUNCH and punched out twice as many butterflies as you can see on the box. The reason was to glue two butterflies together, back to back. The result is that they appear the same front and back.

I’m not sure what I will pop inside this box yet – do you have any suggestions?

The box is 1.75″ x 1.75″ x 3.75″.

To be honest, I still do not know what the image on the DSP represents. If anyone does, please let me know.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

ANOTHER COFFEE CAPSULE GIFT BOX

When I saw the colour of the Starbuck’s coffee capsules, I wanted to use some Cajun Craze card stock to make a gift box to hold them. I also wanted to use a sheet of DSP from the GILDED AUTUMN SPECIALTY DSP PACK – the piece with a Cajun Craze background and copper foil features.

The gift box holds three capsules.

I used the PRESS ON STAMP SET for the elements on the front of the box. The take away cup was fussy cut and an extra layer, stamped with coffee beans, was added.

I enjoy making gift boxes – do you? What is your favourite style of gift box?
