IN THE COUNTRY IS A GREAT STAMP SET

I am always amazed by the range of images that Stampin’ Up! creates for its stamp sets. The two landscape images in the IN THE COUNTRY STAMP SET are stunning.

Today I have another water coloured landscape card to share with you.

For this card I started by cutting the Shimmery White hexagons and then I positioned them together on a piece of Masking Paper. Then I used my Stamparatus to stamp the image with Sahara Sand. Then I stamped the same image using VERSAMARK and Clear Basics Stampin’ Emboss Powder before heat embossing the powder. This technique results in a coloured image outline that can be water coloured.

To assemble the card I started by positioning the centre, horizontal line and then the top and bottom rows.

Now I’m off to work on my next few projects to share with you.

Until then happy stamping.

THE FIRST CHALLENGE FOR 2023

I may be a little late to the first Colour INKspiration Challenge for 2023 – #136.

Here are the colours for this challenge:

May be an image of furniture, indoor and text that says '#136 Blushing Bride Mint Macaron 甜 Garden Green Sahara Sand COLOUR CHALLENGES'

Make sure that you pop on over to see the projects made by the Colour INKspiration Crew and everyone participating.

Here is the project I made using the colours listed.

For my projects during January and February, I want to show my customers how they can earch a FREE product.

This time I featured the SOMETHING FANCY BUNDLE (160425). At $81 it is $9 less than the qualifying value for a FREE Sale-a-bration product. A packet of Rhinestone Basic Jewels or Pearl Basic Jewels at $10.50 will fix that.

I chose the images only IN THE COUNTRY STAMP SET to use with the sentiments only SOMETHING FANCY STAMP SET and coordinating DIES.

The first step was to stamp the image using Sahara Sand, on a piece of Shimmery White card stock, and my Stamparatus. Then I stamped the same image using VERSAMARK and Clear Basics Stampin’ Emboss Powder before heat embossing the powder. This technique results in a coloured image outline that can be water coloured.

The Deckled Rectangles Dies gave me the panels for the card front. They were layered and positioned at differeing angles with Stampin’ Dimensionals popping them up from the card base.

I took a length of Natural Finish 7/8″ Ribbon, cut it in half and then frayed the length. The ribbon pieces were attached with Mini Glue Dots.

The greeting was stamped and cut using one of the new labels dies from the Something Fancy set. I trimmed the end from the label giving it this assymetrical shape. Then I added some bling before stamping part of the image on the envelope and card insert.

I am having such a fun time creating with so many amazing new products from the new catalogues.

Tomorrow I haveanother water coloured scene for you.

Until then, happy stamping.

OLD MACDONALD HAD A FARM – E.I.E.I.O.

Today I have a second card to share with you using the ON THE FARM BUNDLE and coordinating DAY AT THE FARM 12″x 12″ DESIGNER SERIES PAPER.

You can earn the paper, FREE from the Sale-a-bration Brochure, if you place a $90 product order. Good news – the ON THE FARM BUNDLE (160661) is $90!

ON THE FARM BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

For this project I chose to make a trifold card so that I could use the piece of DSP that is a full 12″x 12″ design.

DAY AT THE FARM 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

I used a 12″x 12″ piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and cut it to 5 3/4″. Then I scored it at 4″ and 8″

The panels from the DSP were cut to 5 5/8″ x 4″ and adhered to the card base.

I cut a length of Black & White Gingham Ribbon and 2 lengths of Basic White Twine to wrap around the card and tied it into a bow.

The birthday greeting is from the BEST FAMILY EVER STAMP SET. This 34 photopolymer stamp set is in the 2023 January – April Mini Catalogue (160720 – $42AUD). I stamped the greeting onto a scrap of the DSP and trimmed itbefore adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop it up on the card front.

When the card is first opened, you can see this part of the image.

When the card is fully opened you can see two image panels. In the centre panel, I added a Basic White insert and fussy cut part of the scene from the DSP. I stamped and die cut a roll of hay. I also added a roll of hay to the front of the envelope.

To finish the card I added Adhesive Sheet to the back of some Garden Green scrap and cut the letters with the Alphabet Dies – E.I.E.I.O.

If you live in Australia, I hope that you reach out for your own copy of the catalogue.

Until next time, happy stamping.
