ANOTHER CHRISTMAS IN JULY CARD TO SHARE

I chose the Cottage Wreaths Bundle for this card. It has such a classic Christmas look.

This card stated with a base made from Garden Green cardstock and a piece of patterned paper from the Sweetest Christmas 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper

Using Soft Suede, I stamped the twigs wreath before stamping the leaves wreath in Soft Succulent. Then I the individual leaves using Garden Green. Finally, the cluster of three berries were stamped in Sweet Sorbet.

The Christmas greeting was also stamped using Sweet Sorbet.

I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut the stamped Basic White panel. A scalloped circle die was used to cut the Garden Green piece. These were then adhered together before having Stampn’ Dimensionals attached so that it could be popped up on the card front.

The last step was to use the Country Wreaths Dies to cut the bow that I added to the wreath.

I think that I will go back and add some Pearlised Enamel Effects Basics to the stamped cluster of berries. What do you think?

Another card tomorrow.

Until then, happy stamping.

WEEKEND OVER & TIME FOR A CHRISTMAS IN JULY PROJECT

This card was one of my sample cards from a recent 2022 July – December Mini Catalogue Launch Event.

I decided to use the Christmas Banners Bundle and the Lights Aglow 6″x 6″ Specialty Paper.

I adhered a layer of the Lights Aglow Specialty Paper to a Very Vanilla card base.

Then I used Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent cardstock to cut the leaf elements from the Christmas Banner Dies.

I stamped the Season’s Greetings banner before the greeting, which I stamped in Sweet Sorbet. Then I used some Clear Wink of Stellar to add a little bling to the Evening Evergreen areas.

The leaf branches were secured behind the banner and then lots of Stampin’ Dimensionals were placed behind this collection. After peeling off the backings, I was able to postion the banner and leaves securely.

This paper design, from the Lights Aglow Specialty Paper , is one of my Christmas favourites.

I could have added some Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels for a little extra bling.

This is a fairly easy card to make – great for someone with a little stamping experience. What do you think?

Tomorrow I will another Christmas in July card for you.

Until then, happy stamping.

GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT CHALLENGE

This week’s #GDP351 challenge theme is SHAPE.

My go to for this challenge were the Stylish Shapes Dies and I featured the square and circle stitched shapes.

I also used the Sun Prints 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper and the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set.

I started by using the smallest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut several pieces from three different DSP designs. The squares were then attached to a Basic White panel.

Then I used the circle dies to out 4 circles from the centre of the largest square.

After removing the die cut circles, I placed the remaining panel piece in the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

I adhered this embossed panel onto a Basic White card base. Then I placed the circles back from where they came from, alternating the heights of each circle with dimensionals.

The greeting is from the Nature’sPrints Stamp Set which was die cut using the same small square die.

I coloured some Iridescent Rhinestones with my dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends pen.

I am very pleased with the card I have created for this challenge. What do you think?

Tomorrow I will start sharing some of the Christmas card samples I made for the recent catalogue launch.

Until then, happy stamping.
