STEP IT UP SUNDAY

Sunday is all about stepping the card designs from yesterday.

I wanted to share this card yesterday but I was experiencing uploading issues.

For this card I introduced the Natural Prints Dies to cut the three stamped leaf images. They were attached to the card front across three layers.

For the next card, I used the Fern 3D Embossing Folder to add the fern texture to a panel of Basic White cardstock.

I stamped and die cut the leaf elements and added them to the embossed layer.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut using this shape from the Natural Prints Dies.

Finally, I took a length of Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon to tie a cute little bow.

The last card today is definitley stepped up.

I stamped the splatters across the card front before adding three strips of embossed Starry Sky cardstock, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I stamped and die cut all of the leaf and floral images from the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set and layered them on the card front.

The sentiment was created in the same way as the previous card.

Finally, I added some Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card to add a little bling.

This is such an amazing suite of new products. I am looking forward to creating even more projects this week.

Tomorrow is Memories on Monday and I look forward to sharing the layout I have created.

Until then, happy stamping.

#simplestamping IS DESIGNED FOR SOME SERIOUS SATURDAY CREATIVE FUN

This week I am featuring the Sun Prints Suite.

Today’s cards primarily use the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set and two Classic Stampin’ Pads in Gray Granite and Starry Sky.

The first card uses just the new 2022 – 2024 In Colour Starry Sky. One image and one sentiment were stamped onto the Basic White Notecard and envelope.

For the second card, I switched the ink colour for the sentiment to Gray Granite.

I also added a bow tied using a length of Starry Sky twine from the 2022 – 2024 In Colour Baker’s Twine Pack.

For this card I added a second image, the splatters and stamped them in Gray Granite.

I added a double bow using the same twine as the previous card.

I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock, trimmed it down and popped it up on the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the last of today’s cards, I have used the Natural Prints Dies to cut stamped leaf images.

Tomorrow I will share some stepped up versions of these cards. I will use everything in the suite including the Designer Series Paper and Embossing Folder.

Until then, happy stamping.

IT’S TIME TO HAVE A LOOK AT TWO VERSIONS OF A FUNFOLD CARD

The cards I have to share with you today are versions of a Diagonal Double Fold card.

These are the last two projects featuring the Tea Boutique Suite. The Designer Series Paper is so pretty.

The Starry Sky card base was cut, as shown below, to create the two diagonal flaps. I took two different DSP designs and cut them for the front of the card.

The striped tea cup, leaves and teabag tag were stamped and die cut. I added dimensionals to the back of the cup leaving a small area overlapping the top flap, creating a ‘latch’ to hold it closed.

The second card has a slightly different closure.

The first card has a split front that completely covers the inside of the card. The second reveals an area from inside of the card.

Both cards feature the DSP and a stamped and die cut teacup with leaves and tag.

By simply cutting the top flap in opposite ways I achieved these two cards.

It has been very enjoyable making my projects this week, featuring the new Tea Boutique Suite.

Tomorrow I will start using a different collection of new products.

Until then, happy stamping.
