IT’S MONDAY AND THAT MEANS IT IS TIME TO HIGHLIGHT SOME NEW STAMPIN’ UP! PRODUCTS

This week I plan to showcase the Season of Elegance Suite Collection, from the September – December 2024 Mini Catalogue.

This suite collection includes two bundles, but more about the features on Friday.

As you can see there are lots of gorgeous goodies included in the suite.

Today I have a textured Christmas themed card to share.

I took a 5 3/8″ x 3 3/4″ panel of Basic Beige card and used the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to it.

After embossing the panel, I used my Mossy Meadow small Blending Brush to lightly build up colour on each of the trees. I also used an empty Wink of Stella brush to add colour into more specific areas to darken the green on the trees.

After the ink was dry, I painted Clear Wink of Stella across the trees to add shimmer to the card front.

I used another empty Stella brush to paint Pearlixed Enamel Effects onto the trees for a wintry, snow effect.

After the ink and enamel dried, I adhered the Basic Beige panel to a Mossy Meadow panel.

The greeting, from the Peaceful Season Stamp Set, was stamped in Mossy Meadow and then cut using a die from the Peaceful Season Dies.

A length of Basic Beige Bordered Ribbon was threaded through the die cut piece and Stampin’ Dimensionals were placed on the back of the greeting. The greeting was positioned on the front of the trees and the ribbon was wrapped around the layered card panels. The ribbon was tied into a simple know and trimmed.

These layers were then adhered to a Basic Beige card base.

I added a strip of Basic Beige paper, from the Season of Elegance DSP, inside the card and to the back of the envelope.

Finally, I added some Blooming Pearls to the front of the card.

Tomorrow is Tuesday and I will have a project featuring some tips and techniques to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

IT’S FRIDAY AND TIME FOR SOME FEATURES & A FUN FOLD CARD

I was only able to share images of the new Splendid Autumn Suite Collection, from the 2024 September – December Mini Catalogue, from Wednesday of this week. That was when customers were able to start ordering new products.

This Collection is made up of the Autumn Expressions Bundle – a stamp set made up of 9 cling stamp sets and 8 coordinating dies.

The stamp set has three images and 6 greetings. The greetings use two fonts, one smaller upper case block style font and the pther is a larger beautifully cursive font.

The Autumn Expressions Dies include 5 leaf and timber shaped dies and three dies that cut elements that can be used to create a bag. These pieces can also be used to cut frames and panels.

The Designer Series Paper is perfectly named – Splendid Autumn. The colours and designs are truly autumnal.

To complete the collection there are 200 Faux Glass Dots, 75 Woven Golden Leaves, and a roll of Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon.

For my Fun Fold card today I have used another card template, from page 22 of the Annual Catalogue, and gave it a Fun Fold twist.

The template I used can be found on the second row and is the fifth from the left.

I used a Gard Green panel and attached a piece of DSP. A second piece of the same DSP was trimmed down to be added to panel of Garden Green card. This resembles the ‘spotlighting’ technique.

A small Garden Green card base was cut and folded. I attached the ‘spotlight’ panel to the front of the small card.

Using the largest banner die, from the Stylish Shapes Dies, I cut a Garden Green banner. I scored at approximately 1″ along the righthand side of the banner and adhered this section behind the small card base.

Then I glued the small card to the base panel, aligning the images.

I used a pair of small magnets to create a closure for the banner flap. One magnet was placed on the banner fold using a mini glue dot to secure it.

The corresponding magnet was positioned on the inside left half of the card. Then I adhered two pieces of DSP, the floral design covered the second magnet.

I added a piece of Basic White cardstock inside the small card to provide a place to write a personalised message.

To finish the card, I stamped the greeting on to a small pice of Basic White card and cut it with one of the banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies. The right hand end of this banner was trimmed and the greeting panel was added to the Garden Green banner.

The back of the envelope had more of the DSP added. Then I added some of the garden Green gems from the Blooming Pearls pack.

This was a fun card to create.

I’m not yet sure what I have for you tomorrow, but I will have something.

Until then, happy stamping.

THURSDAY IS THE DAY FOR SHARING A 3D PROJECT WITH YOU!

For my 3D project this week I spent time, and quite a bit of retired cardstock, to create a Pyramid Gift Box.

This is the template I created to make the box. It took a few attempts to achieve the design that I wanted.

Each side of the pyramid measures 6 1/2″ (16.5cm) and each side of the base measures 3 1/2″ (8cm).

The tabs are 1/2″ each, with one of the base tabs measuring 3/4″. This tab is wider to allow a pair of small magnets to be used to help secure the base. One magnet was secured to the flap using a mini glue dot. The second magnet was placed inside the pyramid, secured with a mini glue dot and covered with a small DSP circle.

The pyramid was made using a piece of Wild Wheat A4 cardstock.

I cut an additional single triangle and used it to cut panels of Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper. These panels were cut to 1/16″ smaller on all three sides.

After adhering the DSP panels to the base, I assembled the pyramid.

I reused the template to cut a ‘nose cone’ and a base strip. These were then attached to the top and bottom of the gift box to reinforce these ends.

The greeting, form the Autumn Expressions Stamp Set, was stamped in Pebbled Path, on to a piece of Wild Wheat card. Then it was cut with one of the Stylish Shaoes Dies.

The Autumn Expressions Dies were used to cut the small collection of leaves that are tucked in behind the greetings panel. The base of the greeting panel was glued to the box and the top was secured with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I was able to cut the DSP so that the design would flow from one side to the next.

The Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon was tied into a bow and positioned toward the top of the box using a mini glue dot.

The final step was to add some Faux Glass Dots to the front panel.

Now the only thing left to do is to find something to pop inside the box as a gift to someone special.

Tomorrow I have a Fun Fold Card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.
