3D THURSDAY IS DEFINITELY ‘A THING’ & WORTH CHECKING OUT!

I really enjoy creating 3D projects from scratch but am always excited to have a new 3D product.

The new Suitcase Treat Boxes are perfect accessory for the On the Go Suite Collection.

There are 12 Suitcase Treat Boxes in the pack (165580 – $14 AUD) and they measure 3″ x 3-3/4″ x 1″ (7.4 x 9.5 x 2.7cm).

So I haven’t ‘created’ my own 3D project today but have assembled the box and decorated it with a travel theme.

I used the Everyday Arches Dies to cut two pieces of DSP and adhered them to the front of the box.

A strip of the Shy Shamrock/Summer Splash DSP was cut and then wrapped around the box to create a belly band.

Then I fussy cut two of the suitcases and added them to the belly band.

The greeting was stamped and each word was then cut individually. These words were thenadhered to one of the suitcases.

I added a puffy marker to one of the DSP arches.

To finish the box, I cut three small keys and tied them to the handle using the Azure Afternoon twine.

Tomorrow I have a Fun Fold Card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

WEDNESDAY IS A GREAT TIME TO SHARE SOME UPDATES & ANOTHER PROJECT

So, what’s new with Stampin’ Up! this week!

First, I have some new OnLine Exclusives to share with you. Click on the link below to see a flier showing some of the new products.

ONLINE EXCLUSIVES

There are two new kits available this month.

The Maritime Moments Kit (165664) is $37 and the Welcoming Garden Kit (165661) is $41 – don’t forget these prices do not include postage.

In some bad news – the manufacturer of our Water Painters (item 151298) is no longer making this product, which means Stampin’ Up! is limited to the supply they currently have on hand. Once existing inventory runs out in each market, the Water Painters will be removed from the online store. SU is currently exploring alternative manufacturing options and hope to bring this or a similar product back in the future.

So if Water Painters is on your wish list – NOW is the time to order them.

AND … tomorrow I am heading to the Brisbane Convention & Entertainment Centre for the three day OnStage event. This is a wonderful opportunity for demonstrators, from around the South Pacific and internationally to meet, swap, create and learn together. I’ll definitely be sharing photos of the event with you.

Here is today’s project.

This card is another layered card, featuring the new On the Go Suite Collection.

The DSP introduces one of the new In Colours for 2025 – 2027 … Strawberry Slush. It is a very pretty pink.

As you can see, I have started with a Basic White cardbase and two DSP layers and a layer of Summer Splash.

I enjoy using smaller layers and adhering them at angles.

The greeting, from the Tags to Go Stamp Set, was stamped in Summer Splash and then cut with one of the tag dies.

A Crushed Curry key was cut and twine looped through the hole. After trimming the twine, the key was added to the tag with dimensionals.

Extra keys were cut using Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie card that had Adhesive Sheets added to the back. These keys were added to the card insert and the back of the envelope.

Tomorrow I have a 3D project to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

TODAY IS TUESDAY & TIME FOR A NEW CARD TO SHARE WITH YOU

Typically my Tuesday post is a technique project. This project is a very simple layered panels project using the On the Go Suite Collection.

This card is made up of a Pumpkin Pie cardbase and three layers – Basic White, Azure afternoon and Designer Series Paper. This is an easy layout that lets the DSP be the showcase element.

The greeting was stamped onto a small piece of Basic White cardstock before I cut it with one of the tags from the Tags to Go Dies.

The tag has a fabulous perforated section that can be torn away if you want.

The tag also leaves a prepunched hole that is perfect for threading the Azure AfternooonPack Your Bags twine through it.

Both the card insert and back of the envelope have had some of the DSP added. By adding DSP it ties the card and envelope together into a coordinated set.

The final touch was to add one of the blue paper planes, from the Puffy On the Go Stickers pack, to the tag.

Tomorrow I will have another layered card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.
