A GOLFING INSPIRED BIRTHDAY

We are going to a 30th birthday party today and I wanted to make a card to suit the recipient. Last year I used the Whisky Business Stamp Set for his card. This year I decided to use some of the retired Country Club Designer Series Paper for this easel card.

After I finished making the Night of Navy easeal card base, I cut Garden Green card and some of the Designer Series Paper for the front panel.

Then I used the Playful Alphabet Dies, Foam Adhesive Sheets and Crushed Curry card stock to create the birthday message.

I added a strip of the same golf buggy DSP to the envelope.

To ensure the easel card would stand well, I cut a piece of Night of Navy card stock using one of the Seasonal Labels Dies. This ‘stopper’ also had some Foam Adhesive Sheet attached.

To coordinate with the golf balls and tees DSP I adhered one of husband’s tees on this area of the card.

I love the look of the used tee – it’s a bit like an old trophy.

When the card is opened out, there is a birthday greeting stamped using the Biggest Wish Stamp Set. I really love the way the two different fonts work together with these sentiments; and, they look amazing when stamped in two different colours.

Although this is a masculine birthday card, I couldn’t resist some bling. I used some of the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

As you can see, I forgot to add the Seasonal Labels Dies to the product image. Oops!

So, what do you think of James’ birthday card?

Until next time, happy stamping.
